What if I want to have a birthday party for my child at the pool?
Hosting 10 to 25 non-members at the pool is considered to be a party. Parties, which may last up to 4 hours, are scheduled on a first-come first-served basis; only one party may be scheduled at a time. Please see the Pool Manager or the Assistant Manager to schedule your date and time. Rain dates are also available.
Why is the pool closed for special events?
Occasionally, the pool is closed for special events for the pool members and their guests. We do this so the people involved can feel that they are getting the most from the pool. Members will be notified in advance if the pool will be closed for a special occasion, i.e. Pre-teen night, Teen night, Sprint Meet…
Why does the pool close early on days of home swim meets?
In July, Roycefield hosts many other swim clubs for dual meets. Because meets usually last for 2 – 3 hours, we need to close early as to not go late into the night. This usually happens 2 or 3 times and there will be notification ahead of time.
Are there any job opportunities for my child?
Employment is decided in the beginning of each year between January and March. Gatekeepers need to be 14 years of age or older and lifeguards need to be 15 years of age with the proper certification. Please see the Pool Manager for an application.

Are swim lessons available? How do I arrange them?
Multiple sessions of swim lessons are scheduled during the season. Before the lessons begin, each person will be tested in the water so they can be put into an appropriate class. Private lessons are available for a fee. Please see the Pool Manager or a lifeguard to schedule a private lesson.
Why can't children in diapers go into the main pool?
New Jersey health regulations restrict Roycefield from allowing any child in a diaper into the pool. Bacteria can escape from the diaper and contaminate the water. When this happens, we have to stop all swimming for an hour while the water is super-chlorinated.

Are the grills available for anyone's use?
Yes, the grills are available to all members. We supply the charcoal and lighter fluid, you supply the food. There is a refrigerator and microwave located in the office if needed.
My child wants to join the swim team. Where do I buy the swimsuit?
