The Work Bond Program
As a Member of Roycefield Swim Club, each family must put up a work bond. The work bond was created so those people who wanted lower fees could do some work at the club and receive a rebate. Those people who do not want to be involved will forfeit their work bond and the money is used to hire people to do the work.
The Board of Trustees would like to encourage all of the membership to participate in one or more of the following jobs:
Grounds Preparation (pool opening & closing) - please contact the Pool & Grounds Committee
Social Committee - runs all the social activities for the club. Some of the current activities are:
- HOT DOG NIGHT – we arrange to sell hot dogs, chips, soda, and dessert so the members can enjoy dinner at the club and a night’s swim. This activity takes place on Tuesday in July.
- TEEN NIGHT - we arrange for snacks soda, music, and games for children 13 & up.
- PRETEEN NIGHT - same as teen night but for children 9-12 only. Despite the age this is usually a bigger group than teen night.
- HOLIDAY PARTIES (July 4th, Labor Day) - prepare grilled food, cleanup
